Security & access
What travels, and who can see it

Locked in transit. Scoped in the workspace.

The controls that decide what moves over the wire, and who can see what once they are inside. If your procurement team works from a checklist, this is the section they want. The phone line in § 09 reaches someone who can answer whatever isn't covered here.

Encrypted in transit

Every request runs over HTTPS. Strict-Transport-Security is enforced for a year across all subdomains, so a browser that has seen RTG once will refuse to fall back to an unencrypted connection.

Protected sessions

Authentication cookies are encrypted and signed, marked HTTPS-only, and hidden from page scripts. Session cookies are SameSite-Strict, so they are never sent along on a request originating from another site.

Role and seat-based access

Workspace roles decide who can see and change what. Gallery Seats give read-only access across RTG Core and RTG Pulse, so board members, clients and funders can follow the work without being able to change it.

Attributed and timestamped

Positions, notes and whip-count entries record who set them and when, right down to "by Fred, Healthcare CA". Nothing in a shared workspace changes anonymously.

Browser-level hardening

Clickjacking, MIME-sniffing and cross-site scripting protections are set at the server, alongside a strict referrer policy and a permissions policy that switches off camera, microphone, geolocation and payment access outright.
